Show State Inter-Club Kiwanis Banquet-Program Tonite Approximately 300 Members, Guests Expected Including Art Committee, Artists And Club Officials; Ranch Kimball, Guest Speaker One of the major gatherings in connection vi th the current Art Exhibit will be the annual inter-club Kiwanis banquet and program, to be held this evening, beginning at 7:00 p. m., in the Art Gallery. Arrangements have been made to entertain approxi- , mately 300 Kiwanis club members and their partners, representing rep-resenting clubs throughout the state, according to Harrison Conover. president of the local organization. Ranch Kimball of Salt Lake City will be the guest speaker. Sterling Price, vice-president of the local club, will be toasmaster. Invited to attend as special guest of the club are Governor Guy C. Poulsen of Utah-Idaho distrtict of Kiwanis International, Idaho Falls, Ida., Secretary Earl S. Gardeman, Salt Lake City, Lt.-Gov. Lt.-Gov. Walter Steed of Utah-Idaho Kiwanis district No. 2, Clearfield; Lt.-Gov. Harry Randle of Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho Kiwanis District No. 1, Eureka, Eu-reka, and their partners, ville high school Art committee Also members of the Spring-and Spring-and Springville's seven contemporary contem-porary artists, who are, Wayne Johnson, Glen Turner, Florence Frandsen, Hughes Curtis, V. O. Hafen, Howard Kearns and Marie C. Miller, have been invited as special guests. The evening's entertainment will be featured by a tour of the Art gallery following the banquet. Another interesting highlight of the evening will be the presentation presenta-tion of lovely paintings as guest prizes. Although some concern has been the Art gallery since the gas has expressed in regard to heating been turned off, President Con-over Con-over gave assurance today that the building will be warm and a full attendance of local club members mem-bers and partners and other guests are expected |
