A Every branch of the service has its own review board to handle the review of discharges. For complete com-plete information contact your local Disabled American Veterans, national service, officer. XXX Q. Is there a time limit on requests re-quests for review of military discharge? dis-charge? A. If you feel that your military service justified a more favorable discharge or dismissal you have 15 years after discharge to ask for reconsideration. XXX Q. After a serviceman has been discharged from the Army can he be called back to duty? A. Some men who are released from active Army service and sent back to civilian life are not actually actual-ly discharged. They receive a Certificate Cer-tificate of Service which transfers them to the Enlisted Reserve Corps. They can be' ordered back to active duty. XXX Q. Can a merchant seaman who was disabled in World War II receive re-ceive vocational rehabilitation? A No. However, he is entitled to some of the benefits provided for World War II veterans. XXX Q. Can a former member of the women's services obtain medical aid from the Veterans Administration Administra-tion in pregnancy cases? A The Veterans Administration has ruled that pregnancy is not a disease or a disability and therefore there-fore is not a responsibility of the government. XXX Q. Some time has elapsed since my discharge, yet I have not. received re-ceived the back pay due to me. Where shall I write about this? A. Army inquiries should be addressed ad-dressed to the finance officer of the camp from which you were discharged. dis-charged.
