Show Armed Forces Capt. Jay W. Basband Given Discharge Capt. Jay W. Rasband, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rasband of Heber City, has been processed for separation at 'the- Port Douglas Doug-las center and is now on terminal leave until June 9. His wife, the former Myrle Madsen, has been making her home with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Mad-sen. Mad-sen. He has served 20 months overseas as a unit ommander with the Inf antryy in the . South Paific area. . Pvt. Bliss Fullmer Home On Furlough Pvt. Bliss Fullmer, son of Mrs. Jonena Fullmer, sent a few days of the past week at home enroute from Fort Bliss, Texas, to Fort Benning, Ga. During his visit, he called at the Herald office to express ex-press his appreciation for the home-town paper, which he said helps to keep the boys from getting get-ting homesick. John F. Strong Is Home From Europe ' T5 John F. Strong, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Strong, has been given a discharge from the Army at Fort Douglas separation center. cen-ter.
