Show Springville Girls To Play Sandy Tonight Game Will Begin At 8 P. M., At City Ball Park; Sandy Boasts Clean Record In Salt Lake Co. League The unbeaten girls' softfcall team from Sandy, w 1 is currently playing in the Salt Lake County softball 'leagu will match its prowess with the Springville eirls' f,i. i! club on the local diamond tonight beginning at 8 p. m. The fast Sandy team is tops in its league and has won all its league games and several others during the summer's play. Springville, Spring-ville, while not playing in any regular reg-ular league, can field a strong club and should give the visitors a real battlev Beverly Twelves will be on the mound to do the patching patch-ing for the locals. Several other former players of the Springville team will be playing and should give the Salt Lake team plenty to worry about. "Spud" Hinckley will be playing first base. "Spud" is one of the top first basers in the game in these parts. The game will be free to the public, announced John Roberson, team manager. 1 The Springville team has defeated de-feated some fast teams during the past few weeks,' and have been looking forward to playing one of the state's stronger clubs.
