Show FOOTBALL STARS FROM SHS IN ALL-STAR TILT Harold Norton, Jimmie Fullmer Are Two Football Stars Representing Springville Club Two of Springville High School's outstanding football stars Harold Norton and Jimmie Fullmer, Full-mer, are among the list of prep all-stars who will play in the big All-star game in the University of Utah stadium Saturday night at 8:30. Coaching the two clubs, representing repre-senting the North and South of the state, are Marchie Schwartz from Palo Alto and Matty Bell from Dallas, coaches of Stanford and Southern Methodist, respectively. respec-tively. Working with these two coaches are the four prep mentors whose teams gained the class A and B finals last fall. Snide Taylor of Jordan and Al Mercer of Cyprus assisted Schwartz with the north, while Sanky Dixon of Lincoln, and Cliff Poole of Logan, worked hand-in-hand with Bell for the south. While there is not a picked lineup line-up at present, the prepsters will probably see action in the outstanding out-standing pre-league football classic. clas-sic. Springville's stars are expected ex-pected to be two of the top performers per-formers in the contest. Norton was one of the top backfield players in the Region Three battle last year and won state recognition. Fullmer played brilliantly at end and was also recognized for his stellar play. |
