NELSON Lovely cReception Given Couple Wed In Temple A lovely mid-summer event was the wedding reception recep-tion last Wednesday evening honoring Miss Jane B. Williams Wil-liams of this city and Frank M. Nelson of Spanish Fork, v serving tables which held the wedding wed-ding cake and tall white tapers in crystal holders. N Arch Williams was master of ceremonies and announced the program for the evening. Fred Blackett rendered several vocal solos. Mrs. Gladys Christmas also gave iolos and Mrs. Maurice Bird entertained with piano numbers. num-bers. During the reception, a string ensemble composed of Mrs. Eileen Bird, Mrs. Thora Johnson, Mrs. Minerva Jesse, Mrs. Carol C. Kreth and Miss Pauline Boyer, furnished music. After the bridal march into the amusement hall, the bride cut a lovely three-tiered wedding cake and members of the wedding party were served. Guests were served at small tables centered with gladiolus. Mrs. Jane Briggs, Mrs. Ella Frampton and Mrs. Sarabelle Stewart were in charge of refreshments. re-freshments. Mrs. O. A. Thorn, Mrs. A. Y. Wheeler, Mrs. Roy Creer and Mrs. Molly Creer were in charge of the bride's trousseau room. Receiving gifts were Marian Bird, Carma Clyde, Nancy Packard, and Phyllis Swenson. Miss Grace Ann White kept the brides book and Mrs. Ben Isaac and Mrs. Alice Adamson presided in the gift room. After the reception the couple left for a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone after which they will be at their newly completed home in Spanish Fork. who were married m tne Logan temple on Monday August 2. President EIRay Christiansen performed per-formed the ceremony. Accompanying the couple through the temple were their parents, par-ents, Mrs. Ed Williams of Springville Spring-ville and Mr. and Mrs. G. Frank Nelson of Spanish Fork also Mrs. Ted Liefson, sister of the groom and Mrs. L. J. White and Mrs. Maurice Bird, sisters of the bride. The reception was held in the Fourth ward church in Spanish Fork and was attended by a large crowd of relatives and friends. The bride was charming in a white slipper satin wedding dress entrain with fitted bodice trimmed with Irish lace and caught with tiny orange blossoms. Her veil of brides' illusion lace trimmed, was arranged to a headpiece head-piece of Irish linen to match that of her dress. Her bouquet was composed of a single orchid encircled en-circled with tiny pink rose-buds and stephanotis from which fell white satin ribbon streamers knotted knot-ted with tiny rose-buds. In the receiving line with the newly wedded couple were their parents, also Mrs. Richard Money of Spanish ,Fork, grandmother of the bridegroom and the brides attendants, including . her four sisters.Mrs. L. J. White Mrs. Maurice Bird, Mrs. C. Reid Johnson John-son and Mrs. Melvin Warren and a sister of the bridegroom, Mrs. Ted Liefson. These attendants were attired in pink and blue identical formals all made by the bride They wore dainty corsages of gardenias, stephanotis and cam-elias. cam-elias. Flower girls at the wedding were two little nieces, Mary Jane Bird and Deanna Warren, whose white taffeta formals hand embroidered, em-broidered, were also made -by tne bride. They carried tiny nosegays of rosebuds. Bill Nelson, brother of the groom, was best man. Acting as host and hostess at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Alton Packard and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Swenson. The church was beautifully decorated de-corated for the reception with a profusion of summer flowers, gladiolus in pink and white, predominating. pre-dominating.
