Show T)0ND SALES HIT 94 PERCENT OF STATE QUOTA Utah has made only 94 per cent of its quota in the security loan sale of E, F, and G bonds ended last month. State director Earl T. Ross of the United States savings bonds division said Utahns bought $8,-750,000. $8,-750,000. Only nine of the state's 29 'counties made their quota, Ross said. They were Summit, Tooele, Grand, Davis, Weber, San Juan, Cache, Carbon, and Eox Elder counties. Five of the nine counties made better than 100 per cent of their quota. Summit county topped the list by selling 140 per cent of its quota and Tooele was next with 133 per cent over its quota. According to F. C. Packard, Springville, county chairman, Utah county sales totaled $408,717 or 90.8 per cent of the $450,000 quota. Salt Lake, the state's most heavily heav-ily populated county, made only 93 per cent of its $4,500,000 quota. |
