'"U" Graduates Record Number In Aug-. Exercises In the largest summer commencement com-mencement rites ever held at the University of Utah, 364 'students will receive degrees and certificates certifi-cates August 28 at 7. p. m. in Kingsbury Hall, Dr. A. Ray Olpin, president or the University, announced Wednesday. The College of Education will award the greatest number of degrees, de-grees, offering 97, plus three high school certificates and one high school diploma. Bachelor of science degrees will be presented 17 students in nursing education, 39 in elementary education and 29 in secondary education, with 12 more in the latter field receiving receiv-ing bachelor of arts degrees. Indicative of the accent on graduate grad-uate work at the University are 85 advanced degrees to be conferred con-ferred by the Graduate School. Of this group two will receive doctor of philosophy degrees; 22, master of arts, and 61 master of science degrees.
