Show "All's Well ! That Ends Well" All summer long there has been a feud going on between two well-known young men of Springville. There has been no attempt by either party to hide the fact so it has become quite well-known and widely discussed. dis-cussed. It has become serious enough at times to very nearly require the intervention of the law enforcement officers. The feud is between two men who used to be the best of friends, and probably still would 'be so, if one or the other would back down (or back up) a little. It seems a shame that practically all their time and efforts are wasted in trying to get even with one another. If the time (usually after working hours) they waste were used where it is so sorely needed today, they could accomplish much good. This feud was brought to a head the other night when for the first time this summer Wallace Wal-lace Patrick deflated Francis Hazel one (1) game in bowling. bowl-ing. It may be that the feud will die down now, but on the other hand, relations may even become more strained than ever only time wnll tell. |
