Show VALLEY TAVERN TAKEN OVER BY NEW OWNER One of the largest real estate transactions in this city recently was the purchase of Valley Tavern Tav-ern by Lamount W. Passey of Salt Lake City, from Mrs. Gladys Niel-son, Niel-son, who has operated the hotel for the past eight years and is moving to Salt Lake City to reside. re-side. ' The hotel, which will carry the same name, will go under new management beginning today, Feb. 1, according to the present owner. Mr. Passey takes over the hotel ho-tel with confidence in the growth of Springville and the patronage of its townspeople. He is inaugurating inaug-urating a complete catering service, ser-vice, soliciting the business of clubs and private parties. He plans to make some changes in the place, effecting accommodations for the seating of more than 80 guests at banquets. Later, he hopes to place maple floors in the rooms for dances and dinner parties. Coming to Springville as resident resi-dent manager of Valley Tavern will be Mrs. Myrtle Peterson, who has had many years of experience the most recent being wjth the Utah Power and Light company. Both the operator and manager extend an invitation to people of Springville and vicinity to plan their next party or banquet at Valley Tavern. |
