Show TO IIOLD NEW JOB EXHIBIT Implementing- the pledge of industry in-dustry to do all within its power to increase the opportunities for Americans to earn after the war, manufacturers will hold an exhi- bition Feb. 25 through March 4 f in Columbia, S. C, to introduce f new jobs in new fields for the f postwar consideration of service- I men. f Designed to demonstrate some j of the fresh economic opportuni- ties which will be open after the war, the exhibit will be attended by 80,000 men in nearby Army camps and air bases. Cooperating with exhibiting manufacturers are the University of South Carolina, U. S. O., military mili-tary authorities and a number of ; other agencies. Among the groups planning to have exhibits on display dis-play are the Willys-Overland Co., the Association of Diesel Engine Manufacturers, the General Electric Elec-tric Co., the Monsanto Chemical Co., some of the plastic industries and the Radio Corp. of America. |
