Show PL Grove Man Is Candidate For County Recorder Ivan B. Monson, a life long resident res-ident of Pleasant Grove announces announc-es he has filed as a Democratic Candidate for the position of Utah County Recorder. Mr. Monson attended schools in Pleasant Grove and the LDS Bus- l3;;yp V-;- I'-.:;;;. : J &xu i Ivan B. Monson iness College in Salt Lake City. He is a fruit grower. He has served as a deputy in the County Recorder's office for nearly 12 years and he has also worked as a supervisor for the AAA. He has worked in the superin-tendency superin-tendency of the Manila ward Sunday Sun-day school and as a meber of the bisopric of the same ward for five years. He is now acting as a stake missionary. Mr. Bushman, a son of Lehi pioneers, is actively engaged in farming, stock raising and poultry poul-try production, having entered this field after completing his formal education in the Lehi City schools and Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. Mr. Bushman served four years as a Utah County committeeman on the A. A. A. during a period when wheat allotments and marketing mark-eting quotas were in force. He had charge during that period of survey sur-vey and mapping of all farm land in Utah County in connection with his A. A. A. duties. An active member of the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints, Mr. Bushman recently completed com-pleted a mission in the Texas Lousiana Mission field. He worked in the superintendency of the First ward Sunday School for a number of years, and is at present Ward Genealogical Chairman. He is a father of four children, two sons and two daughters.
