Show Loca! Businessman Suffers Injury From Stray Bullet Art H. Child, manager of the A. H. .Child and Son Monument Co., is expected to be able to leave the hospital the latter part of this week having been confined there since last Friday evening, when he was accidentally shot in the neck by a stray bullet. Mr. Child was traveling north on the highway near the underpass under-pass about 11 p.m., when the stray bullet believed fired by juveniles hunting rats, struck him. He drove to Dr. C. W. Judd's home for first aid treatment and was taken to the hospital. X-Ray pictures and an operation opera-tion revealed that the bullet was lodged too near the spine for removal re-moval and it was decided to leave it in it's present position unless complications result. |
