Show Jaycees Set Meet ' May 4; Group At State Travel Springville Jaycees announce the date of their next meeting' on May 4, at 8 p.m., at Jack's Place where Mead Weight and Bud Done will be in charge of the program on aviation. At the meeting last Thursday, Easton Brown of American Fork, who is state Jaycee vice-president and is a candidate for national director, told the assembled clubmen club-men of his experiences as a prisoner prison-er of war. Mead Weight and his wife, Jerry, Jer-ry, represented the local club at the Los Angeles, Calif., air show held the past week at Phoenix, Ariz. It was reported also that the Springville club came third in the state Travel Trophy contest, the final Travel Trophy meeting having hav-ing been conducted at Lewiston last Saturday evening. Attending the meeting were: Stanley Roberts, Rob-erts, Jay Lowe, Scott Bertelsen, Verl and Don Wiser. |
