Show Tiremen Respond To Two Fires; Damage Hear $2000 Springville Firemen were called early Tuesday morning to a fire at the H. T. Williams property, 10 South Seventh East street, where a large frame chicken coop and 1030 baby chicks, also 250 laying hens were destroyed by fire. Property Prop-erty loss was estimated between $1500 and $2000 partly covered by insurance. An overheated oil brooder was blamed for the fire which was detected de-tected and the alarm turned in by Leon Bjarnson, who was passing pass-ing by the Williams residence. A fire on the Bob Chapman home, 343 West Center street Sunday Sun-day evening did about $50 damage to the roof. The blaze was attributed attri-buted to sparks from the chimney. |
