Show lureole Club Meets Officers Mrs. Merle Packard was elected resident of the Aureole Club at meeting conducted Wednesday veiling at the home of Mrs. Mary Wei. Other new officers include: .Irs. Peggy Holt, vice-president; urs.- Bernice Rigtrup, secretary; Jlrs. Ida Lewis, treasurer. Following the election, a short Irogram was Ijeld in which Carol Wei entertained with piano sections se-ctions and the club members Iscussed and displayed their var-us var-us hobbies. (,; One of the most interesting dis-lays dis-lays was one by Mrs. Lucy Roy-ivnce. Roy-ivnce. It consisted of more than ''0 handkerchiefs which , she had Dllected. Many were from for-gn for-gn countries, some were souven-s souven-s made by friends and one spec-illy spec-illy prized with a tatted edging, ras made by the late Mary J. inley. Other hobbies.consisted of scrap-ooks, scrap-ooks, collection of old time pic-.iires, pic-.iires, history and pedigree of ne dogs, the collection of household house-hold hints and gardening, all of jrhich were classed as those things i which various members were jecially interested and which took fieir spare time. At the close of the evening's itertainment, tasty refreshments ere served by the hostess to 15 ub members.
