Show 'Plans Progress For Biennial to Be Held in May Plans are progressing for the big music event coming to Salt Lake City in the form of the biennial bi-ennial in May and committee chairmen chair-men are making arrangements to entertain a large group of city, county and state people at the various functions. Last Thursday, Mrs. Stanley Bonnett of Provo was hostess at a luncheon for state officers including in-cluding Mrs. Victor J. Bird of Provo and Mrs. F. C. Packard of this city to discuss general plans. At 3 p.m., the same day, Mrs. Packard had a meeting at her home here for the executive officers of-ficers of the southern region of Federated Music clubs, to discuss plans for the biennial and for the art luncheon. The luncheon, over which Utah county will have direct charge will be held on Wednesday Wed-nesday May 16. Mrs. J. Victor Bird and Mrs. Packard are chairmen chair-men of the event. Region officers of the biennial attending the meeting include Mrs. J. Victor Bird, Provo, president; Mrs. F. C. Packard, Springville, first vice-president; Mrs. G. B. Madsen, Mt. Pleasant, second vice-president; vice-president; Mrs. Stanley M. Taylor, Tay-lor, Lehi, third vice president; Mrs. Kenneth McDonald, American Fork, fourth vice-president; Mrs. A. K. Breinholt, Provo, secretary; Mrs. Thomas J. Norton, Provo, treasurer; also Mrs. H. B. Mensel of Provo, fourth state vice-president and Mrs. Howard Maycock, Mrs. Jack Walker of American Fork and Mrs. Reynolds of Mt. Pleasan, committee members. |
