Show Musettes Conduct Regular Program A full afternoon's program was j presented at the meeting of the Musettes, when they met last Saturday Sat-urday at the home of Mrs. Merle Schreiner. Following regular practice and reading of the minutes, Mrs. Bess Mendenhall spoke on ."Choral History His-tory Makers," by Edith Barrows. Mrs. Ina Christensen . gave the autobiography of Paula Lenchner, noted musician who will be at the biennial in Salt Lake City and also spoke briefly on other nationally known people who will be here for the big music event. The lesson les-son on, "The Clippenger Class Method of Voice Culture," was given by Mrs. Afton Palfreyman, who also gave an outline on stage presence. Mrs. Lenore Bills sang, "No Other Love," accompanied by Mrs. Olea Sargent and Mrs. Clara Child gave lesson 3 and 4 on Breath Control. It was announced that the Musettes Mus-ettes had been invited to sing in the Second ,ward Sunday evening services March 18 and also at the Art Tea. ' Refreshments concluded the meeting being served to approximately approx-imately 25 members. |
