Show i Funeral Services Held Sunday for Mrs. Mary Hatfield Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Z. Hatfield, 80, who died last Thursday at her home on South Main, of a heart ailment, were conducted in the Second-Eighth ward chapel. Burial was in the , Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler and Son Morturay. Mrs. Hatfield was born on Mar. 20, 1870, a daughter of John and Emma Richardson Conover. They , moved to Springville in 1873 and she lived here most of her life. She was married to Amos Hatfield in 1889. He died in 1923. J Mrs. Hatfield had been active in I LDS church work serving as sec-1' sec-1' retary of the Relief Society organi-f organi-f zation in the First ward many years. She had also been a Relief i Society teacher in the First and Second wards. She was one of Springville's Gold Star Mothers, having lost a son in World War f 1. She was at one time president . of the Springville Service Star ;: Legion and had been an active li member of the Springville Legion Auxiliary unit many years. She is survived by a daughter and four sons, Mrs. Flora Maiben of Provo; P.
