Show SERVICES HELD FOR . 'RfilOLQJJiQUE Speakers Pay High Tribute to Civic Worker and Business Man. Funeral services" for Arnold G. Giauque, for twelve years member of the board of education, were held yesterday at the Pioneer stake hall at Fifth South and West Temple streets, commencing at 2 P. m. The services were conducted by Sylvester Sylves-ter Q. Cannon, president of Pioneer slake of the D. S. church. The speakers were John Bennett, followed by James H. Anderson. An-derson. The service rendered by Bishop Giauque during Ills public life was also extolled by the speakers. Joseph A. Buttle, But-tle, bishop of the First ward of Provo, and President Cannon also spoke of his life. Floral tributes were abundant. A male quartet rendered several selections. Miss Louise Watson sang, accompanied by violin and piano. The pall-bearers were George E. Burbldge, R. H. Eardley. H. J. Eardiey, Alex Buchanan, Jr., Charles Sperry and George G. Smith. The grave In the City cemetery was dedicated by George F. Burbldge. Mr. Giauque was formerly a member of the state land board, and at the time of his death was appraiser for ZIon's Savings Bank & Trust company.
