Show TALMAGE SPEAKS AT TABERNACLE SERVICE Sterling B. Talmage, son of Apostle. James E. Talmage of the L. D. S. church, was the speaker at the tabernacle taber-nacle services yesterday. His subject was a comparison of science and religion. re-ligion. He urged (hat a proper viewpoint view-point of things both spirituul and temporal tem-poral be taken, as the wrong viewpoint often leads into misunderstanding. He declared the world is progressing in its views. President Anthon H. Lund presided at. the meeting.' The opening hymn, "Guide Us, O Thou Great Jehovah," was sung by the congregation, under the leadership of Anthony C. .Lund, with J. J. McClellnn at. the organ. Alfred Al-fred Best sang the tenor solo from "St Paul," "Be Thou Faithful Until Death." The choir sang tho anthem "Come Unto Me," as a closing number. |
