Show Mrs. W. Mont Ferry and Mrs. Benner X. Smith Are Injured. . Mrs. v. Mont Ferry, wire ot the mayor, and Airs. Benner X. Smith were severely hurt yesterday afternoon when the automobile in which they were riding collided with another car at the corner of State street and Twenty-first South street. The car was driven by Mrs. Ferry's son, Truman Ferry. In the other automobile were D. L. Sellers, driving, of 553 Eighth avenue; C. H. Stewart, 775 East Sixth South, and M. R. Porter, 1380 Ninth East street. Mrs. Ferry suffered bruises and abrasions abra-sions about the face and head. Mrs. Sml! h was more seriously hurt an it was said last night after the pre-! pre-! liminary examination that her right arm j and shoulder blade are very badly bruised, with possible internal injuries I in addition. She was likewise hurt about I the head. An X-ray examination of her ; arm and shoulder will be made today, i The Ferry car was almost in front of ! the county hospital when the acidnt occurred, and the two women were taken j there for treatment. Dr. T. J. Ho wells' i and Dr. E. B. Sharp attended them, j Neither Truman Ferry nor the men in the other car were hurt. The story told , to Deputy Sheriff W. E.
