Show SURVEY PROVES UP UTAH SILVER-LEAD B. A. Vail, secretary of the Bamberger Electric railroad, spent the latter part of last week surveying the property of the Utah Silver-Lead Mines company, six miles north of Peterson, In the Weber canyon district. As result of work done. Mr. Vail reached the conclusion that the Blacksmith tunnel would tap the Silver Zone ore bodies at tho desired point and that the work beins done was being accomplished ac-complished in an expedient manner. When the party left, the face of the tunnel showed a lime-quartzite contact, which is taken by the management as an indication that the Silver Zone ore bodies are nearer than was at first estimated and that the objective is being rapidly approached. |
