Mr. and Mrs. "Willard Hanson and children chil-dren have returned from a motor trip through southern Utah. Mrs. Weill Hostess at Jummer Luncheon A PRETTILY appointed luncheon was given by Mrs. E. A. "Wall yesterday yester-day at her home on East South Temple street in honor of Mrs. J. W, Houston, who has recently returned from New York, and of Mrs. Patrick Kerwin, who will leave soon for California, after spending some time in New York. Petunias in rich coloring were arranged in a low bowl as a centerpiece for the table. Summer garden flowers were used throughout the house. The place cards were in Japanese designs. Covers were laid for fourteen. , Maxwell-McKean Woman's Relief corps will hold its regular meeting Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 in the I. O. O. F. hall. All members are expected. , The Salt Lake Neighbors of Woodcraft will have a picnic at Liberty park this afternoon. All members are invited. The Salt Lake chapter of the Alumni Order of the Gleam of the University of i Utah will meet at the home of Mrs. Laura F. McCurdy, 437 South Thirteenth j East, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. All Gleam members are urged to be present, i since the matter of the winter's work is to be decided upon. ! 1 William R. Green, of Marshall, Texas, Is visiting at the home of Mrs. Charlotte B. Sanders on McClelland avenue. Mrs. Louis S. Bowerman, wife of the former pastor of the Immanuel Baptist church of this city, and now of Kansas City, Mo., will arrive in Salt Lake today from California, where she ha3 been visiting vis-iting for two months, and will be the guest of Mrs. G. J. Badertscher in Westminster West-minster Heights. A number of social functions have been planned In Mrs. Bowerman's honor during her short stay In the city. Mrs. George E. Dangerfield and children chil-dren and Miss Beulah Terry have returned re-turned from Wlldwood, Provo canyon, where they have spent two weeks at the ! Dangerfield cottage. j !
