Zion City, which lias never had a saloon, and where even smoking is forbid-I forbid-I dou, is today the resting place of ! twenty tons of real 2r;', per cent ! honept-to-goodness beer. : This is thc first beer that was ever j displayed in Zion City openly, and is being viewed with curiosity hy many of the inhabitants. The nucleus of j the supply was obtained Friday, I when four trucks, on their way to 1 Chicago, were intercepted. Today, nine more trucks, laden ' with kegs, barrels and bottles, ran smack into the arms of the Zion 1 City police. The trucks and drivers were captured. The men were put in cells and the beer stored in the small jail. j Nineteen driven were arrested, i and among then were two who were driving the trucks last Friday when they were picked up by the police.
