Show 1TI LEGION Former Service Men WiU Gather for Extensive Celebration. "That reminds me of something a little French girl said to me the day we marched out of a half-wrecked village on our way to the front lines" thus will begin be-gin the stories of many war memories, dimmed by but a few months of peace, but brushed to glowing brightness by contact con-tact with another "buddy's" experience, today at Saltair where all former service men and their friends will be the guests of the American Legion. The posts of Ogden, Halt Lake, Midvale and Murray have combined to make this the first big reunion of the veterans of t. the world war. A record crowd will fill the popular resort re-sort to overflowing, it is believed. News comes from Ogden that hundreds of former for-mer service men, scores of whom are so new to civilian attire that the tickling of the breezes around their trouser cuffs reminds them with startling frequency IV that they have forgotten their legglns, : are preparing to besiege the Bamberger trains until they all have set foot at the Saltair depot. ' Similar reports have reached the committees from Midvale and Murray. Indications at Salt Lake also point to the biggest gathering of the summer to loy the many normal attractions, to- -her with the elaborate program planned the committee in charge. . The Saltair electric trains will maintain a fifteen-minute service all day. The committee in charge of the events consists of Ray McCarty, chairman; Murray Mur-ray McCarty, "W. R.
