W V V Mrs. Baker Expresses Satisfaction Satis-faction With Results of Work in City. The question of calling special sessions ses-sions of state legislatures for ratification ratifi-cation of tlio national woman suffrage amendment has been frequently considered con-sidered in an informal way by governors gov-ernors attending tho conference here, although it has never been a part of tho official program, according to Mrs. Abby Scott Baker, political chairman of the National Woman's parry. The executives arc evidencing interest inter-est in the matter, according to Mrs. Baker, and she is of the opinion that her stay here will aid in the cause of the women of the nation. Governor 0. A. Larrazolo of New Mexico has assured her that the ratifying ratify-ing of the amendment will be considered consid-ered at a special session of tho New Mexico legislature in the early fall, Mrs. Baker said. |
