Instead, his plane turned abruptly in a rapid side slant to the ground, crashing into the fence and a telegraph pole and burying its nose into the ground. The pole was hit with such force that it lay across the wrecked plane at an angle of about -15 degrees. Mr. Balderson was taken to his home, where his wound vcas given medical attention. |
