PECULIAR feature of a forest fire located on a tributary of i the east fork of the Salmon river I on the Challis National forest in i Idaho -was the total destruction of ! all the fish in the stream, according to a report of the forest service. In traveling up and down since h9 has failed to see a single live fish. It is evident that the fire had started from a campfire left by fishermen at the lake.
