Show EXONERATE OFFICER FOR KILLING MAN Special to The Tribune. Eii.'REKA, July 8. An Inquest was held today over the body of Anacleio Zalazar, Mexican, who met death here last night In a shooting affray. Zalazar was intoxicated in-toxicated and when approached by Night Policeman Abner Gray he pulled a gun, but Gray shot the man before he got the gun in action. The bullet went through the breast near the heart and dea tit was almost instantaneous. The inquest was held before Judge Creighton and the jurors were Rescue Cole. C. H. Peery and Charles R. Colvin, whose finding were that Zalaaar met death by a bullet from a gun in the hands of Abner Gray, night policeman, who used the same in self-defense. |
