Extension 154 Includes Westmoreland drive, Thirteenth South street to Sherman avenue, Sherman avenue, ave-nue, Fillmore to Glenmare streets, Harrison Harri-son avenue, Fifteenth to Sixteenth East streets, Fillmore street, Sherman to Harrison Har-rison avenues and Glenmare street, Sherman Sher-man to Harrison avenues. Extension 100 includes Laird avenue from Eleventh to Thirteenth East streets. Extension 14S includes Fifteenth East street. Thirteenth to Seventeenth South streets. Extension 149 includes Seventeenth South street, State to Fifth East streets. City Engineer Sylvester Q. Cannon submitted sub-mitted to the commission a report on the progress of municipal improvements in answer to the complaint of Nepal L. Morris Mor-ris that the improvement program is being be-ing delayed. The report shows that the engineer's office has prepared plans and specifications specifica-tions to date for improvements to cost $1,360,000 and preliminary estimates covering cov-ering work to cost 51.079,400. The report sets forth that work totaling a cost of ,?3l'S,700 has been delayed or defeated by circumstances beyond the control of the engineers office. It further shows that plans or estimates of work to cost $612,-300 $612,-300 were issued from the office during the month of April and that improvements to cost a total of ?190,300 are now under construction. It shows that bids are to be opened in the month of July on work totaling an estimated cost of $793,000 and during the month of August of $452,000. |
