Show IH HIKERS I WILL CLIMB FRIDAY Club Arranges for Eighth Annual Ascent of Great Peak. Special to The Tribune. PROVO, July 8. Everything is rounding round-ing into shape for ihe eighth annual Tim-pauogos Tim-pauogos hike, which will take place next j Friday and Saturday. .More than fifty ' students and teachers from the University Univer-sity of Utah have signified their desire to tro on tho trip and have senty in their names to the hike management, and, according ac-cording to Coach E. L. Roberts, many more wi'I join before the day of the hike. The Brigham Young university students stu-dents were organized into email companies compa-nies yesterday afternoon and Provo citizens citi-zens will be placed into convenient groups today. It is arranged this year o that people joining as late as Friday morning may find accommodations with the party, but the management would prefer to have everybody signed up by Wednesday evening. The wagons carrying carry-ing the equipment will leave at noon Thursday. Professor Earl Pardoe will stage a short open-air drama Friday evening at Asnen Grove in connection with the musical mu-sical concert that is being arranged by Professor C. W. Reld and his corps of mus'cians. Th.se features, together with the beautiful scenery, will make the trip i to Aspen Grove worth the effort, even ff i T'mpanogos may appear too difficult for I some of the hikers. : The Provo Commercial club has pub- lished a pamphlet giving the hike pub-, pub-, licity and explaining the scenic features I along the way. This literature is being I sent broadcast throughout the inter- mountain country. |
