" This significant remark was made yesterday by A. D. McMullen, president and general manager of the Motor Mercantile Mer-cantile company, exclusive wholesalers of auto puts and supplies, at 115-117 Soth West Temple street. "Of course, the fact that we carry in stock a large supply of auto parts is important, obviating, as it does, the necessity of sending east, but no one thing has made greater appeal to the dealer than the fact that we positively protect him in his relations with the consumer trade, and do not encroach upon that trade ourselves by underselling under-selling him to the buyer." One of the most important features connected with the opening of the .Motor .Mo-tor Mercantile company 's 'plant is the fact thajt the company was extremely fortunate in having all of its orders filled. "This," said Mr. McMullen, "mav be ascribed in part to good luck,, and, I . suppose, in part to good head work. At any rate our warehouse is amply filled with the fii.est stock of auto parts' and supplies in the west. We are equipped to cover orders immediately. "At present the company has twenty-five employees. Mr. V." A. Culver, who is wail known to the selling fraternity frater-nity throughout Utah and Idaho, is salesmaneer and heads a force of salesmen that covers Utah and the surrounding sur-rounding states. "The buying for the firm is under the skilful direction of George G. Hansen, Han-sen, who has had extended experience in this particular line on the coast. Mr. Hansen was formerly affiliated with the Chanselor k Lyon Company of San Francisco, wholesale dealers in auto parts and supplies, and therefore brings to the Motor Mercantile company an experience of great value. "The eoidial reception we have received re-ceived from the entire business fraternity," fra-ternity," said Mr. McMullen, "although "al-though we have just opened our doors for business, makes us very appreciative, apprecia-tive, and, of course gives us high hopes. With our catalogue off the press in a short time, which will render buv-iug buv-iug easier for our friends, we confi-. dently believe that we can render a type of service and deliver a quality of auto parts and supplies that will be welcome everywhere." |
