Show LIBERTY STAKE TO HOLD ANNUAL RALLY Mutual Improvement Associations tc , Meet for Outing Program at Liberty Lib-erty Park on August 13. The Mutual Improvement associations of; Liberty stake will have their raily and outing at Liberty park, August la. A varied program of sports, music and speaking has been arranged by the stake boards. The day's events will begin with a picnic at 6:30 p. m. and all families in the stake are expected to take their lunch at the park. The sport events will begin on the lake at 7:30 p. m. and will continue-for one hour. It will consist of a boat race for the young men, a boat race for the young ladies, swimming race for boy scouts, first-aid contest. 'a novel duel . on the lake, an apron and needle race for junior beehive girls, a tug-of-war between the M. I. A. ward presiuents and the bishops in the stake, a potato race .between the boy scouts and junior beehive girls and a fat men's race. A complete set of M. I. A. reading course books will be given to the ward having hav-ing the highest percentage of ward membership. Prizes will be given the winners of the other events. In the evening, beginning at S:30 p. m.. a musical program wiii be given, followed by speaking at the band stand. This will be the last rally of the AI. I. A. organizations for the summer. |
