Vot of Sacramento, Sacra-mento, who used a Jordan ail last season, and, as the new models were out, journeyed jour-neyed to the factory in Cleveland. Ohio, and secured the very latest in the Jordan iour-passenger sport moriel, because the factory could not make shipment as soon as he desired. Vogt has made quite a trip since purchasing pur-chasing his car from the factory, having driven - from Cleveland on east with a party of six to New York, then through the Berkshires to Boston, making a circuit cir-cuit of the New England states and then returning to New York. After this preliminary spin of 2S7f miles and a visit to New Jersey and Atlantic City, where Tour of the party remained, Mr. and Jlrs. Vogt started on a cosst-to-coast trip from Atlantic City to San Francisco. After driving through Baltimore to Washington, where he remained a few rTays on official business, Mr. Vogt continued con-tinued westward via Cincinnati to St. Louis, thence to Kansas City and Denver, Den-ver, hitting the Lincoln highway at Laramie. Vogt states that SO per cent or thn roads were in pretty bad condition, hut that in spite of the fact that the Jordan was- new und stiff, coming direct from the factory, he had not even found it necessary to raise the hood of the engine, en-gine, so perfectly has the new Jordan functioned since starting on the trip. The trip to date has occupied thirteen days and covered 0300 miles. Mr. and Mrs. Vogt loft for San Kra ncisco Friday, Fri-day, expecting to drive in a leisurely fashion, enjoying the country as they proceed and arrive in San Francisco Monday Mon-day or Tuesday. While stopping in Salt Lake City. Vogt had the Jordan service expert at t he Mercer & Jordan Sales company examine hia car thoroughly, who reported it to be in perfect condition. "All the trouble we had on the trip," says Vogt, "was caused by one leu-penny naiK Otherwise we reached Salt Lake City with Cleveland atmosphere in four tires, the fifth having been punctured and repaired at Denver. "It's i-ertalnly a wonderful car," he concluded, "ami It's going to be a case of 'just one Jordan after anolher' as long as I buy cars." |
