Show SUGGESTS PRINTING OF BIG PAMPHLET As a member of the executive committee com-mittee of the National Tax association, William Bailey, secretary of the state board of equalization, has received from Prof. Fred R. Fairchild, of Yale university, univer-sity, president of the association, a letter let-ter asking for suggestions as to the proper course for the organization to pursue, in view of the fact that it had to postpone the proposed meeting at St. Louis next week. Mr. Bailey suggests that the proper thing to do will be to forego the meeting for this year, but to have committee com-mittee reports and other papers that had been prepared printed in a pamphlet, pam-phlet, similar to the usual report of the association's proceedings. A committee should be named to analyze these and to report at the next meeting. That session may be held in Salt Lake. It had been proposed to have that of this year in Salt Lake, but the war and federal fed-eral control of railroads made it appear more advisable this year to go to a more central city for the annual meeting. |
