Show amount to be had in this country, but, according to Mr. Trent, the Salt Lake branch of the Goodyear company is particularly par-ticularly well supplied with truck tires at this time. The government realizes that the truck tire business is an essential business and that eyery truck in use ,on the streets relieves the freight situation just so much. According to Mr. Trent, a sale was made to the Salt Lake Pressed Brick company during the past week which was exceptionally gratifying to him. This tire was a 40x8 Dual, and is a tremendously large piece of equipment. The overall width of this tire is IS inches, which makes it considerably larger than any commonlv sold. The sale of this tire by tho Rubber Products company, local Goodyear truck tire service station, was made after the Salt Lake Pressed Brick company had tried all makes and varieties of tires and found Goodyear to be the best. Trent, local manager of the Goodyear Good-year Tire & Rubber company, has just received a very interesting letter from a former Goodyear man, Ray Van Wagoner, now in the service of the country in France. After writing very interestfnglv of his doings in the A. E. TP.. Mr. "Van Wagoner goes on to say: "Old Goodyear is certainly cer-tainly well represented over here, and it seems good to see all these trucks rolling on Goodyear tires.
