Northwestern university's, uni-versity's, football team, although practically practi-cally rebuilt during the last week, defeated defeat-ed Knox college today, 47 to 7. Knox scored In the first quarter, after less than three minutes of play. Their only score was the result of a forward pass and a ninety-yard run for a touchdown touch-down by Bridgeford, who then kicked goal. Afterward, Northwestern scored touchdown touch-down after touchdown, while at no time was the Purple goal in danger again.
