Show OFFICERS AT FORT WILL BE PROMOTED Eight First Lieutenants to Become Captains Cap-tains and Seventeen Second Lieutenants Lieu-tenants to Be Advanced-Eight Advanced-Eight firt lleuterants now on duty with the Twentieth infantry at Fort Douglas are to become captains and seventeen second lieutenants will be promoted to the next rank, according to information received at the post yesterday. Mc-Cartney. promotions advance all of the regular army first lieutenants at the post to the rank of captain except two, and all the second lieutenants except two to the next higher grade. |
