Show AGGIE QUINT WANTS TRIP TO COLORADO Special to The Tribune. LOGAN, March 6. Graduate Manager Coburn of the A. C. basketball team is endeavoring to arrange a game with the University of Colorado basketball team at Denver on March 22. The Boulder team wants to play the game at Salt Lake or in Loan, but the Aggies think a trip to Colorado would be preferable on many counts. For example, they say It Is doubtful i the game vould draw well at Salt Lake, and also point out that there have already been innumerable basketball basket-ball teams in Logan this winter. Furthermore, Fur-thermore, the Aggies think the game would be a big drawing card at Denver, inasmuch as the Aggies' hoop squad contains con-tains six of the champion football team, and many of the Colorado fans would like to see these player. The Boulder football foot-ball team was in Logan last November and the Colorado Aggies have been here twice in succession, so the Utah boys think it's about time for them to go to ! Colorado. No definite word has yet been received re-ceived as to whether or not the national tournament will be held at Chicago this year, as usual. If the tourney is held, tho Agglcw will enter. At this time it is not known whether the Acgiea and the B. Y. U. hoopers will meet this season. A game Is scheduled , for Provo on March 9, and tho game which was scheduled but not played In Logan between the two teams Is still an open issue. i |
