According to Van Noy in Ids statement to tlie police, the emergency emer-gency lirako on his car refused to work and Ids ear wa Htrnck hy Smith's ear. The collision turned the Van Noy ear on Its side and wrecked the front of t lie Smith car. Van Noy received a fw minor injuries, while Smiiu was tut nhout the face and had his riht leg slightly wrep'lu-d.
