JOHN JL SCHELIN DIES FROM BURNS Ogden Resident for Thirty-three Thirty-three Years, and Active in Mormon Church. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, March S. John A. Schelin died at the Dee hospital at 4 o'clock this morning as a result of burns yesterday morning, when he attempted to start a fire wtih gasoline, believed to be kerosene. kero-sene. In the accident, Mr. Schelin was burned about the lace, arms, shoulder and the upper part of the body. Mr. Schelin was born in Sweden, September Sep-tember 21, lSSfi, and came to Ogden in 1SS5. He lived at Huntsville for a short time, where he engaged in blacksmithing. Later he moved to Ogden, where for twenty-six years he was employed, as a blacksmith in the Southern Pacific shops. He was an active worker in the Eleventh ward Sunday school of the Mormon chu rch. He is survived by his widow, one daughter and five sons.
