BOMB MAKES NOISE; DOES NO DAMAGE CHICAGO, March 8. A bomb, tvhich made much noise and smoke, but caused little damage, was set off at the side entrance of the uncompleted Al IT. Wood 9 theater and office building tonight while the downtown streets were crowded. The explosion Js said to have been caused by members of a dispxuntlI union. The building, which is neitrlnc completion, hae had some trouble with electrical workers work-ers .and sheet metal workers and several private detectives had bf-'-n placed in the structure to ward agninst any outrage. It was at first thought the bomb might have bf,en placed by someone opposed to a Germanopnobic play, with which the theater is billed to open soon.
