Show TEN LEADERS HOLD PLACES ON ALLEYS j CINCINNATI. Ohio,' March 8. Sixth place in the individuals was the best that was reached by the bowlers rolling at the i American Bowling congress tournament here today. This mark was made by J. Haytas of Cleveland, with a score of 669. Haytas was the only bowler who invaded the ranks of the ten leaders today. In the two-men events Oscar Jensen and E. Baker of Terre Haute, Ind., rolled 1209. the high score of the day in that class. They established a new record for one game in the tournament to date In the two-men class, when they rolled 483 in the first game. J. Neuman and G. Munson of Peoria, with 120S, made the only other 1200 score of the day in the doubles. C. Cramer of Akron, Ohio, was second high In the singles for the day, with 600, while Neuman was third, with 643. This did not push either Cramer or Neuman among the select ten, but Neuman went into second place in the all-events, with 1941, Just IS pins behind the leader, H. ; Steers of Chicago. C. Moses of Toledo went into fourth place in the all-events, with 11SS. Five-men teams from Columbus, Toledo, To-ledo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron, Detroit. De-troit. Indianapolis, Chicago, St. Paul, Omaha, Neenah, Wis., and Warren, Pa., contested on the two shifts of bowling in that class tonight, The leading four in the individuals, two-men two-men teams, five-men teams and all-events follow: Individuals C.
