Show FIND GROUND GLASS I IN POST CANDIES CAMP DOXIPHAX, Okla., March S. Ground glass, found in chocolate bars sold at regimental exchanges at this camp, probably will result in the investigation investi-gation of a supply house at Lawton, Okla., and the manufacturer of the candy, located at Louisville. Kv., it was indicated indi-cated here today. This Is the first "spy scare" at this cantonment that has received re-ceived official notice. Particles of glass first were found In a bar ot the candy by a private. A chemical chemi-cal analysis was ordered and the following results have been announced by the camp commander. Major-General Wright: "The discoloration of the glass after having been boiled and tested might indicate in-dicate that it was boiled in the choco-ate choco-ate mixture with deliberate intent and that the presence of the glass in the candy was not an accident, nor that it was put in the candy after it had left I the factory." |
