The prisoners, who subscribed liberally liberal-ly to the Liberty bond issues, have now turned their attention to the war savings sav-ings campaign, which is being conducted conduct-ed throughout the country, and they have already purchased a large number-of number-of thrift and war savings stamps. Warden War-den Kiorrs was not able to give the exact amount of their purchases last night, but he said that they . amounted to considerable. Many of the prisoners in the state institution in-stitution have a little money of their own, and they are gladly investing In the government's "baby bonds," that they may do their bit in the matter of helping the 'soldiers at tho front. Warden Storrs is acting as selling agent for the state committee in the matter of supplying the inmates of the prison with stamps. Practically every man of the plant, it was reported to headquarters here, has pledged to buy a "baby bond" each month during the balance of the year.
