Show P1IHERS WILL PLAY GHeiLE TODAY The initial game in section 2 of the Salt Lake division will be played this afternoon, when the West high school meets Grantsvllle in the Panther gvm-nasium gvm-nasium at 4 o'clock. From all indications, indica-tions, the visitors will have a strong aggregation ag-gregation in the field, and the Panthers will have no easy time. Grantsville has been successful in the majority of its practice games, and hopes to continue the run in the league contests. con-tests. Coach' A. Richardson has been keeping his men in fine trim and expects ex-pects them to put up a strong showing. The West high has Art Leonard and "Ernie Fallentine, who are letter men. Of the others who look promising are: Walt Hall, Mac Pyke, Arnold Dewald and Phil Harlow. On Friday the Panthers meet Tooele in Tooele, while the East high Leopards j open their season Friday night against Grantsville in Grantsville, and on the following night taekle Tooele in that city. In section 1, the Wednesday games are: L. D. S. university at Bingham, Jordan at Granite. On Friday the games are: Murray at L. D. S. university and Granite Gran-ite at Bingham. |
