Show COLOR' WORKS ARE RUINED BY FIRE The Sunset Color works. 420 West Ninth North street, was destroyed by a fire which broke out in the plant early yesterday morning. Three alarms were turned In to the Are department within a few moments following the first alarm at 3:03. Fire Chief W. H. Bywater places the loss at $22,000. The Insurance carried car-ried amounts to 511.000. General Manager K. H. Doelle (ays that the building has been entered many tlnn-s by bovs, in search of loose metal which can be sold for junk. He believes the fire to have been started by the dropping of a lighted match during one of these' raids. Mr. Doelle said he had always .feared fire In this building, as it was previously owned by the Utah Oil Refining Refin-ing company and was saturated with oil. |
