Show CANNED PRODUCTS SHOW INCREASE Special to The Tribune. LOGAN, Sept. 27. The canning schools conducted throughout Utah during the past summer by the home demonstration ' agents, under the direction of the extension ex-tension division of the Utah Agricultural college, have resulted in an increase in the fruits and vegetables canned in the state, according to a statement just made by Miss Gertrude McCheyne, extension expert in charge of home economics. These schools trained local women as j community instructors In canning. These community supervisors have supervised the canning of thousands of quarts of fruits and vegetables. In Davis county, one community instructor supervised the canning of over 1000 quarts in one month. |
