Show SALT LAKE POOR IN STORAGE FACILITIES M. H. Greene, .ioint agent, representing represent-ing the bureau of markets. United States department of agriculture, and the extension division of the Utah Agricultural Ag-ricultural college, completed the first day's survey of Salt Lake grain and produce storage facilities yesterday and reported that Salt Lake 5s sadly lacking lack-ing in storage places and far behind Ogden in this respect. Mr. Greene investigated fifteen storage plants in the city yesterday and found' tne larger ones full to capacity and the smaller storage houses ill prepared pre-pared to handle any quantities of loose grain. A campaign is to be started in the near future emphasizing the benefits of home storage of staples to be used for family consumption. |
